Adopt a Beginner’s Mind

A beginner’s mind means having reasonable expectations when starting something new, like meditation.

Here are some ways to develop a beginner’s mind.

  • Take one step at a time.
  • Fall 7 times, get up 8 times.
  • Do not pre-judge.
  • Live without should.
  • Keep an open mind about how to apply what you learn.
  • Find an appropriate time to implement what you learn, so that you can create your own personal meditation practice.
  • Let go of the desire to be an expert.
  • Experience each moment fully.
  • Discard the fear of failure.

With a beginner’s mind, you will be more open to what is new to you.

It is estimated that approximately 15% of people in the United States have tried meditation.

The key word is “tried”. But most have not stuck with it. But why not?

I am committed to helping you reduce your stress by helping you build your own meditation practice. Whether you are a parent, student, businessperson, or anyone else.

Regardless of your knowledge of meditation or experience with meditation, I offer you a blueprint to help you deal with their stress by building your own meditation practice.

In my training I lay out a blueprint for you to build your own meditation practice. Everything is based on fundamentals. It is critical that you do the work and implement what you learn if you want to enjoy the benefits that a regular meditation practice will provide you.

My proprietary meditation technique, Easy to Meditate, is an entirely new way to think about meditation and develop your own meditation practice.

On this website, you will find links to various free resources that I offer, and a current list of the best tools. My suggestion is that you take advantage of them. They can be accessed on my website www.meditationnotmedicine.com. I have done my best to make these resources as helpful as possible. Since technology changes so often, I decided to keep the most up-to-date resources on this website.

Okay, there you have it. Now you have to do the work. If you want a quick fix, it will not happen. Putting in the work consistently will make a major difference.
